Professor Ephraim Ngwafor took his first Degree in Law, ‘Licence en Droit’, from the University of Yaoundé in Cameroon, where he was drilled in both the Common Law and Civil Law. After his ‘Licence en Droit’ he later obtained an LL. M from one of the Oldest Law Schools in Canada, Dalhousie Law School, before proceeding to the University of London in England, United Kingdom, where he earned his terminal degree, a Ph.D in Law.
Professor Ephraim Ngwafor has held the Positions of Dean of studies and Rector ( Vice Chancellor ) of the University of Yaoundé II, in Cameroon. Today he holds the only Chair in English Law in the Faculty of Laws and Political Science in the University of Yaoundé II, arguably the lead Faculty vis-à-vis the Law Faculties in the other State Universities in Cameroon. He has published extensively in Law notably text books (including one on an aspect in Corporate Law) and articles in various international Journals. He has also contributed enormously in Intellectual Property. An accomplished Professor of Law, Ephraim Ngwafor is also a member of the Cameroon Bar Association. He was recently admitted as a Fellow of the Cameroon Academy of Sciences. Finally, Professor Ngwafor is a member of the Users’ Council of the London Court of International Arbitration.

| Barrister Michael Enow is a key Associate of the Firm. Like Professor Ngwafor, he also took his first degree, “Licence en Droit” from the University of Yaounde and even went on to obtain a Postgraduate Diploma in English Private Law from the same Institution. He then proceeded to the University of Lagos, Nigeria where he obtained an LL.M in International Law. It is interesting to note that he later earned a second LL.M at Tulane Law School in New Orleans, Louisiana, U.S.A., specializing in Oil/Gas and Environmental Law. He is a member of the Louisiana Bar and the Cameroon Bar and is the founder of Enow and Associates Law Firm in New Orleans, Louisiana. His practice so far, has been centred in the following areas: International Financial Transactions, Energy and Petroleum Law, Environmental Law, General Civil litigation, Corporations, Business start-ups and Acquisitions, Commercial Law, Contracts, Insurance Law, Maritime Law and the performance of due diligence in transnational transactions. |

| MR. David Ross attended the University of Capetown in South Africa, where he earned a B.A. and later an LL.B. in 1980, finishing at the top of his class. Upon graduation he won a Kramer Scholarship into the prestigious University of Cambridge, England where he obtained an LL.M. And in this connection, it is important to note that MR. David Ross set the same pace in the University of Cambridge by finishing at the top of his class. At Cambridge, he specialised in Commercial Law with a specific emphasis on Credits and Securities, Company Law, International Economic Law and Finance, and European Union Law. He returned to Zimbabwe after his LL.M at Cambridge, and was inducted as an Advocate of the High Court of Zimbabwe. He worked as a Prosecutor for one year and then joined Scanlen and Holderness, Attorneys and Advocates, arguably the biggest Law firm at that moment in time. He became an important partner of this Firm and represented corporate clients doing business in the South African region in varied sectors such as: mining, iron and steel, agriculture, banking and negotiable instruments. He however decided to leave Scanlen and Holderness in 2001. Two years later, MR. David Ross was hired to work as a Consultant by a United States Law Firm, David Bernberg and Associates, where he offered legal advice in the areas of maritime and international trade law. He moved to London in 2004 as a consultant with the Firm of Brachers & Maidston Kent, Solicitors. He currently serves as the U.K. representative of NGWAFOR & PARTNERS. |

| Barrister NJEL GWET Amos had carried out studies in the Sciences before gaining admission into the Faculty of Laws in the University of Douala where he received his Licence en Droit. He is well groomed in the Civil Law and his first postgraduate degree (Maîtrise en Droit) was obtained from the University of Ngoundéré, where he read Business Law, his interest in this area having been whipped up during his stay in the University of Douala. This is understandable since Douala is the economic capital of Cameroon. He took his second postgraduate degree in Law (DEA) from the prestigious University of Yaoundé II Soa, which houses the Lead Law Faculty in Cameroon. Barrister NJEL GWET Amos did specialise in Multi-dimensional transportation Law, Banking (especially securities and recoveries), Telecommunication, Contracts and has demonstrated an enviable knowledge of the OHADA Uniform Acts. Having had a long standing experience in Legal practice it is not surprising that he heads the litigation department in the Firm, NGWAFOR & PARTNERS. And his background studies in the sciences have given him an added advantage in Oil and Gas Law and Mining Law. He is also a member of the Cameroon Bar Association. |
